Compatibility with your Stove
RangeSafe Stove Safety Knobs™ work with most stove models but it is important that you check for compatibility with your stove before purchasing. RangeSafe knobs will not fit stoves with the following characteristics:
Angled Front Face Surface - RangeSafe Stove Safety Knobs need to adhere to a flat face surface. RangeSafe Stove Safety Knobs are compatible with some stoves which have an angled face (as seen in the picture below).
Protruding LED Lighting - Some stoves have LED lighting behind the stove knob. If the LED lights under the knob are recessed, the RangeSafe Stove Safety Knob should be compatible. If the LED lights are protruding (see picture below) then the RangeSafe Stove Safety Knob will not be compatible. Integrated Bezels - RangeSafe Stove Safety Knobs are not compatible if your stove has integrated bezels. Most stoves however have bezels that are not fully integrated. Non-integrated bezels are either attached by screws or double-sided tape, both of which can be removed to enable installation of the RangeSafe Stove Safety Knob. The example below shows a bezel attached with double-sided tape. These can be removed by simply applying a little heat from a hairdryer.
